The Bold and the Beautiful, B&B, #BoldandBeautiful

“The Bold and the Beautiful” premiered March 23, 1987 on CBS. The series airs weekdays on CBS. Anytime on Paramount+.

Last week, the Casting Society of America (CSA) presented “The 31st Annual Artios Awards,” which honors casting directors for their hard work and dedication to casting television shows and films across the country during calendar year 2015. Sadly, for the first time in as many years, daytime was shut out of recognition by the organization. It only has itself to blame.

CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” were both up week-to-week in total viewers during the week of January 18-22, 2016, according to newly released ratings data. Showing a dramatic uptick in audience throughout its current iteration, “Let’s Make a Deal 2” delivered its largest weekly audience ever. “Let’s Make a Deal 1” delivered its best performance since January 31, 2014.

As we get closer to daytime’s biggest night, taking place on Sunday, May 1, the industry is abuzz today over which actors were submitted for a pre-nomination for the “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). With at least two actors per show for each category (exception being Supporting Actress) several of daytime television’s biggest and brightest stars are looking to vie for the coveted trophy that celebrates their hard work during calendar year 2015.

In addition to “The Bold and the Beautiful” becoming the sole nominee and de facto winner in the category of Outstanding Daily Drama, nominees for the “The 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards” were announced today by the organization which recognizes and honors media published, released or broadcast during calendar year 2015 for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

On Wednesday, January 27, we’ll finally get our first glimpse at what the “43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” nominees could potentially look like when the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) releases pre-nominations in the categories of Outstanding Lead Actress, Lead Actor, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Younger Actor and Younger Actress. Before the potential prospects are released, why not think about joining the judging panel, who collectively votes the pre-nominees into the final selection process? There’s still time to do so!

After Quinn (Rena Sofer) insists to Wyatt (Darin Brooks) that he is meant to be with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), even after the two were found intimately in bed by Steffy’s fiancé, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), what will Quinn do to make sure that her son gets the girl he desires? Liam better watch out as Quinn has made him a target, or that’s what it appears in the latest promo for CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

During the network’s portion of the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour this morning, BET announced it has picked up a fourth season of its hit series “Being Mary Jane,” starring Gabrielle Union.
