As we previously reported, celebrity wedding and event planner David Tutera is headed to “The Young and the Restless,” where he’ll help Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Leslie (Angell Conwell) plan their upcoming wedding. And guess what? Soap Opera Network managed to snag an interview with the busy “My Fair Wedding” star to get the scoop on his visit to Genoa City!
Event planner David Tutera is known for his extraordinary, jaw-dropping parties and weddings for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, Elton John and “All My Children” star Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane), and now he’s headed to bring one lucky couple from “The Young and the Restless’” Genoa City his help in creating a magical, dream wedding!
TVGN is proving why it’s now the “the new way to watch soaps.” With the network already picking up encore airing rights to “The Young and the Restless” this past summer, and “The Bold and the Beautiful” earlier this month, the network plans to provide soap fans with even more “soap” for their viewing pleasure courtesy of the new documentary, “Who Shot the Daytime Soap?” Airing Monday, December 16 at 8:00 PM ET/PT, preceded by airings of “B&B” at 6:30 PM ET/PT and “Y&R” at 7:00 PM ET/PT, the documentary tackles the history of daytime soap operas as told by those who were there during the good times, the bad times and the new times.
As previously reported, Tristan Rogers will soon be departing ABC’s “General Hospital” after his most recent stint as Robert Scorpio comes to an end. With his pending return to CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” in the new year, Rogers recently announced on Twitter his final film date at “GH” and his first film date back at “Y&R.”
On Monday, September 26, 2011, ABC premiered a new daytime talk show that brought food back to the table and into our everyday lives. Now in its third season, “The Chew” is currently enjoying one of its highest rated on record in both total viewers and key women sales demos. As the talk show celebrated its 500th episode yesterday, fans of the ABC version of “All My Children” continued to mourn the loss of their favorite daytime soap opera, which made Susan Lucci and her character Erica Kane a household name to mainstream viewers.
Investigation Discovery announced today that it has greenlit a third season of its hit series, “Deadly Affairs.” Hosted by Susan Lucci (“All My Children”), the series provides audiences with titillating tales of murder and mayhem after relationships begin to falter. The program was one of ID’s top five shows in the 3rd quarter of 2013 in Women 25-54, Women 18-49 and Persons 25-54. In P2+, “Affairs” reached over 9.7 million unique viewers. The new season will premiere in summer 2014.
She may be the Queen of Soaps, but Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children;” Genevieve Delatour, “Devious Maids”) didn’t let the royal title stop her from donning quite a peculiar piece of clothing during her time in the “AMC” spotlight.
Dying to know what’s going to happen between “All My Children’s” Brooke (Julia Barr), Adam (David Canary) and Dimitri (Michael Nader)? Well wait no more, because the-soon-to-be (or not-to-be) onscreen Mrs. Chandler has revealed what’s in store for the savvy journalist’s future with the two men and more!
Longtime “All My Children” fans couldn’t believe it when news broke that Michael Nader would be bringing his popular alter ego, Dimitri Marick, back to the show. And even though it’s been over a month since his June 12 onscreen debut, it’s still a little bit hard to believe that he’s really back in Pine Valley — even for the actor himself! And it turns out, it was a return that nearly didn’t happen.
Susan Lucci has been busy filming “Devious Maids” and “Deadly Affairs,” all the while trying to swing by her old stomping grounds, “All My Children,” where she played Erica Kane from 1970 to 2011. She’s also taken the time to help promote the Smithsonian’s upcoming daytime television exhibit, and she appeared on “Katie” today. But that’s not all the Queen of Soaps has been up to! Soap Opera Network just got word that the New York native will be hosting this year’s Rock the Dock Summer Bash benefiting the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, NY.
Set your DVRs folks, because Susan Lucci (ex-Erika Kane, “All My Children;” Genevieve Delatour, “Devious Maids”) is headed to the daytime talk show, “Katie!”

The OnLine Network has announced that on Wednesday, July 10, “All My Children” fans will finally get a chance to catch a glimpse of Alicia Minshew as Kendall Hart, who we recently discovered had divorced Zach Slater (Thorsten Kaye) between the end of the ABC incarnation to current TOLN version of the soap. Minshew appeared on the set of the online soap opera on Friday, March 8, when it was announced she’d be reprising her role as the eldest daughter of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci).
With word that “All My Children’s” Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery) was with child, you’d think that would be enough for the writing team of The OnLine Network’s popular anytime soap to handle (deciding whether to somehow write it in or to not, if even remotely possible), but now comes word that another actress is also with child!
