For several weeks now “General Hospital” star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) has been teasing an upcoming ABC.com series that she’s hosting which will feature the likes of comedians Sarah Colonna (“Chelsea Lately”), Jimmy Pardo (“Comedy Bang! Bang!”) and Jen Kober (“American Reunion”), as well as “GH” stars Sebastian Roche (ex-Jerry Jacks), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), which she describes as a show about her daytime drama series “with a big dose of funny or die or be in a coma coming to ABC.com.” Just a short time ago, Grahn revealed the new series has officially wrapped filming and will be called “General Hospital Now,” which she also notes is “SNLish mixed with Soap. Coming soon in digital near you.”

On today’s episode of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” the Nicholas and Sharon Bachelor/Bachelorette party is about to go down in the history books as the one which found 20 of the show’s characters all get arrested at the same exact time during the same exact event, a first for daytime television. “It’s one of the funniest shows we’ve shot in so long. Everybody is in the show. It’s a bachelor and a bachelorette party, everything goes wrong, everybody had so much fun. I mean, we had fun shooting it, the characters were having a great time at this party. It really was almost like ‘The Hangover’ [the movie] kind of,” shared Sharon Case (Sharon) in a joint interview with Joshua Morrow (Nicholas) set to air today on Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.”
In an exclusive interview with Australia’s TV Week Soap Extra, “The Young and the Restless'” Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman) has point blank denied the allegations that he groped the breasts of one of his former co-stars, which was reportedly the reason show producers opted to drop him from his contract last December. “I didn’t want to be desperately screaming: ‘I didn’t do it!’” Muhney told the publication in its newest issue as to why it took him so long to defend himself after staying silent for so long. “The rumour was untrue,” he continued.
On the Monday, September 29 season premiere episode of ABC’s “Castle,” “General Hospital” star Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins) will guest star as FBI Agent Connors, who helps Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) try to solve the toughest case of her career following her much-anticipated nuptials to Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion; ex-Joey Buchanan, “One Life to Live”) that resulted in an ominous black SUV driving him off the road in the season finale before he could see his blushing bride.

On the Wednesday, October 1 episode of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” entitled “American Disgrace,” former “One Life to Live” star Kelley Missal (ex-Dani Manning) will appear as an alleged rape victim of pro basketball star Shakir “The Shark” Wilkins (guest star Henry Simmons; “NYPD Blue,” “Another World”). In the episode, Orion press rep Carla Cannon (Missal) tells reporters she was raped by Wilkins. When more women come forward, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Carisi (guest star Peter Scanavino) disagree on the authenticity of each woman’s story, and Barba (Raul Esparza) takes a shaky case to court.
With a 13-episode order, Lifetime has renewed “Devious Maids,” executive produced by Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria (“Desperate Housewives”), and starring Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramírez, Roselyn Sánchez, Edy Ganem, Judy Reyes and Susan Lucci (“All My Children”), for a third season.
While Halloween season itself isn’t necessarily in style just yet for much of the land, the Halloween themed episodes of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” has already been planned and will include several “Big Brother” contestants new and old, reports TV Guide‘s Michael Logan. Per the publication, “Big Brother” contestant Donny Thompson will be joined by fellow season 16 houseguests Amber Borzotra, Cody Calafiore, Zach Rance, Hayden Voss, Nicole Franzel, Caleb Reynolds and Devin Shephard, Season 11 & 13’s Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, Season 12 & 13’s Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas, and Season 15’s Elissa Slater as they all appear in the Halloween themed episodes of the soap, airing Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31, that promises to be boatloads of fun!
With the launch of its 18th season during the week of September 15-19, 2014, and the debut of new co-hosts Rosie Perez and Nicole Wallace, and the return of Rosie O’Donnell to the table, ABC’s “The View” attracted its largest premiere week ratings in three years (3.4 million), to qualify as the week’s most watched broadcast talk show, while also posting year-to-year growth of 13% in viewers compared to the 17th season premiere last season (3.0 million).
The final week of the 2013-2014 television season came to a close last week (week of September 15-19, 2014) and CBS Daytime ended the year on top for the 28th consecutive year! “The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted its largest audience since the 2006-07 television season, while “The Young and the Restless” scored its most watched season in viewers since the 2009-10 television season. Meanwhile, “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Talk” hit their best numbers ever in viewers as “The Price is Right 1” delivered its largest audience since the 2004-05 season and “The Price is Right 2” brought in its biggest audience since the 2006-07 season.
Soap Opera Network first reported on the possibility in early July, while speaking with “The Bold and the Beautiful” executive producer and head writer Bradley P. Bell, and now it is official: The daytime drama series will film a romantic story on the canals of Amsterdam the first week of October, the soap announced yesterday, September 24.
While it has yet to even be confirmed that “The Young and the Restless'” Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) has joined the cast of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” much less the rumored $750,000 payday she’s reportedly said to be receiving for working on the reality series – a record for a new cast member – Radar Online is reporting that Davidson is already feuding with co-star Kim Richards.

With his character married to Summer (Hunter King), following an altercation with Paul (Doug Davidson) that resulted in Genoa City’s top cop getting shot, it was only a matter of time before “The Young and the Restless” locked down actor Matthew Atkinson (Austin) with a contract. As previously reported, cast members of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” will once again take part in a special “Day of DAYS” fan event scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 8 at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood. This year the celebration takes place on the actual 49th anniversary of the daytime drama series, making it all the more special for fans looking to see their favorite Salemites in person. As always, the event is free and will begin at 10:00 AM with a “Day of DAYS” welcome party with cast introductions, followed by autograph signings, a cast Q&A session, photo booth fun for fans and much more. The day will culminate with a preview of an upcoming episode of the drama series immediately following the cast Q&A.
With CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” getting a new head writer, despite the network not yet officially commenting on any pending changes at the soap, actor Tristan Rogers (Colin Atkinson) is the first to embrace Charles ‘Chuck’ Pratt, Jr. to the show.
