‘DAYS’ and ‘GH’ Hit Ratings Highs

"Days of our Lives" and "General Hospital" are each receiving viewership increases, along with "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful."

“The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” aren’t the only soaps getting a jump in viewership during the coronavirus pandemic, both “General Hospital” and “Days of our Lives” are also seeing increases.

According to TVLine, “GH” attracted its largest audience in two years (since the week of March 19-23, 2018) with 2.57 million viewers tuning in during the week of March 23-27, 2020. Meanwhile, “DAYS” hit its most-watched week in over a year with an average of 2.24 million viewers watching. This was the soap’s best performance since the week of February 18-22, 2019.

As previously reported, “Y&R” took back the top spot in Total Viewers with 4.21 million viewers. “Y&R” gained 765,000 compared to one week earlier. The show hit an 11-month high in viewers (best since the week of April 15-19, 2019).

With 3.66 million viewers tuning in, “B&B” gained 40,000 viewers week-to-week and hit its largest weekly audience since the week of March 19-23, 2018 — a two-year high.
