One week after losing its position as daytime’s most-watched drama series for the first time in over 31 years, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” surged back to claim the top spot. The series hit an 11-month high in Total Viewers (since the week of April 15-19, 2019), averaging 4.21 million viewers during the week of March 23-27, 2020. “Y&R” gained 765,000 compared to one week earlier.

“The Bold and the Beautiful,” which claimed the number one spot in viewers and all key sales demos last week, also gained in viewers. With 3.66 million viewers tuned in, the soap gained 40,000 viewers week-to-week and hit its largest weekly audience since the week of March 19-23, 2018 — a two-year high.

Meanwhile, the Wayne Brady hosted game show “Let’s Make a Deal” attracted its largest audience ever! The second half of the show, dubbed “LMAD 2,” attracted 4.29 million viewers for the week, marking its top performance ever. The series launched in October 2009 on CBS. “LMAD 1” averaged 3.65 million viewers for the week, generating a four-year high (since the week of January 18-22, 2016) in Total Viewers.

Attracting its largest audience in over four years, “The Price is Right” once again dominated daytime broadcast. Part two of the game show, dubbed “TPIR 2,” averaged 6.46 million viewers for the week, its largest in four years (since the week of January 18-22, 2016). “TPIR 1” averaged 5.62 million viewers for the week, also a four-year high.

“The Talk” was in re-runs for the week.
