After a release tour for his memoir “My Seven Sons and How We Raised Each Other” last week in New York and New Jersey, actor Don Diamont (Bill Spencer, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) appeared on the Monday, June 4 episode of CBS’ “The Talk” as the show’s “Top Talker.” Find out what he had to say!

With guest co-host Kristine Johnson, news anchor out of WCBS-TV in New York, stepping in for Eve, Diamont chimed in after the ladies discussed how far the concept of family has evolved since the stereotypical family of the 50’s by sharing his personal story, which he notes is talked about at length in his memoir.

“I was profoundly affected by the loss of my dad and my brother in my early 20’s, almost one after the other, and that was the whole male side of my family,” said Diamont shortly after his introduction to the show by moderator Julie Chen. “I have been profoundly rewarded by what was given back to me, which is all these boys. The point is that, and this ties into what Kristine was talking about and what Sara’s been dealing with this week: It doesn’t matter half-brother, whole brother, biological, not biological… it is about what holds us together, which is family. It is not about what keeps us apart.”

Later, Diamont posed a question to the co-hosts on how the definition of family has been redefined for them over the years. To find out what they had to say, watch the clip below.
