Ingo Rademacher Back to ‘GH’, First Airdate Revealed

Ingo Rademacher is officially checking back into Port Charles as Jasper "Jax" Jacks! Find out when you'll get your first glimpse.

Ingo Rademacher is officially bringing Jasper “Jax” Jacks back to Port Charles!

It was on Valentine’s Day (February 14) when “General Hospital” posted a clip from 2017 of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jax saying their goodbyes after Jax informed her of his decision to leave town for good, at least that’s what we thought at the time. As the scene concluded, fans were treated to a shock when it was announced that Rademacher would soon be reprising his role as the suave Australian that took the hearts of Carly and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil), among others, since his first appearance back in 1996.

“Oh, come on! That can’t be the end,” said Rademacher in the clip. “Cause it’s not! I’m coming back to ‘General Hospital,’ and Jax’s legacy is going to continue in a big way. See you soon.”

And soon it will be as Entertainment Weekly recently announced that Rademacher’s first airdate back on the soap will be Tuesday, May 7. He’ll share some of his first scenes with Wright’s Carly, Maurice Benard‘s Sonny Corinthos and Steve Burton‘s Jason Morgan.

In March, Rademacher announced he had returned to the set of “GH” for the first time since April 2017. “Won’t be long now. Just had my fitting. All new look for Jax 🙂 start shooting next week. No air date yet. Stay tuned. Can’t wait! 😁 @generalhospitalabc

“Won’t be long now,” said Rademacher. “Just had my fitting. All new look for Jax. Start shooting next week. No air date yet. Stay tuned. Can’t wait!” the actor said with all smiles.

Since leaving “GH,” Rademacher joined the cast of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” as a recast Thorne Forrester. His role concluded when the character left town in January. Rademacher has also appeared in the network’s “Hawaii Five-0”

“General Hospital” airs Weekdays on ABC.
