If you tuned into the Friday, October 24 episode of ABC’s “General Hospital,” you may have noticed a familiar face with a new do. Actress Kelly Sullivan returned as the spirit of Connie Falconeri, who was murdered last year by Ava Jerome (Maura West), in scenes with Maurice Benard‘s Sonny Corinthos. The return of a normally blonde Sullivan to “GH” comes just days before the actress is set to make her debut as a brunette Sage Warner on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.”

If you tuned into today’s episode of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” you likely saw the “Next On…” segment, which highlights what’s happening on the next episode of the daytime drama series, and you probably thought you were seeing things when a clip of Elizabeth Hendrickson appearing as Chloe Mitchell was shown. After 21 years portraying Sami Brady on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” you’d think Alison Sweeney would have forgotten some of her characters’ storyline plot points, but you’d be wrong. Appearing on the Wednesday, October 1 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Month day one episode, Sweeney took part in the segment “30 Seconds or Else,” only she didn’t exactly know what the “else” was (presumably water).

As previously reported, Wednesday, October 1 marked the first time viewers got to see three time Daytime Emmy Award winning actor Billy Miller in the contract role of Jason Morgan on ABC’s “General Hospital.” As a mystery man that viewers know to be Jason, John Doe is currently laying up in a hospital bed recovering from injuries sustained following his being run over by Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) car in an episode aired last week. When Sam (Kelly Monaco) inadvertently enters his room when her son runs away from her to be by John Doe’s side, Sam is inadvertently reunited with her husband and the father of her child, but does she realize it? Does her son, Danny?

On today’s episode of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” the Nicholas and Sharon Bachelor/Bachelorette party is about to go down in the history books as the one which found 20 of the show’s characters all get arrested at the same exact time during the same exact event, a first for daytime television. “It’s one of the funniest shows we’ve shot in so long. Everybody is in the show. It’s a bachelor and a bachelorette party, everything goes wrong, everybody had so much fun. I mean, we had fun shooting it, the characters were having a great time at this party. It really was almost like ‘The Hangover’ [the movie] kind of,” shared Sharon Case (Sharon) in a joint interview with Joshua Morrow (Nicholas) set to air today on Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.”

As previously reported, “The Young and the Restless'” Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are heading down the aisle one more time, but before the happy occasion can take place, they along with several of their closest friends and family members are heading to lockup! Set to air on Tuesday, September 30, CBS has released a first look clip of the pre-celebration of the joining of the high school sweethearts, who are determined to put the past behind them and face the future together once more.

He’s had starring roles on “All My Children,” “As The World Turns,” “Guiding Light” and currently “Days of our Lives” as Aiden Jennings, but despite his long soap career as a serious actor you’d be surprised to learn what hidden talent Daniel Cosgrove keeps close to the vest. In a recent visit to the Burbank Studios, where “DAYS” is filmed, Soap Opera Network was given an exclusive and rare opportunity of witnessing Cosgrove beatboxing. Yes, you read that right.

On the Thursday, August 21 episode of ABC’s “General Hospital,” Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) returned from her long trip away from Port Charles after looking to clear her head following the death of her son, Gabriel, with Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson). Upon her return, Sabrina is shocked to learn that for much of the time she had been gone Patrick knew who ran them off the road and caused their son’s death. She also learns that her best friend Felix Dubois (Marc Anthony Samuel) knew as well. Neither Patrick or Felix opted to call her to tell her because they feared what it would do to her mental state, as noted by Castillo in Soap Opera Network’s recent interview with the actress.

It’s been awhile since shippers of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos Jacks (Laura Wright) had something to be cheerful about when it comes to their favorite too perfect for each other couple, but this week they finally got some e’s of glee – Sonny and Carly had sex!

On the Wednesday, June 11 edition of the Mark Steines and Christina Ferrare hosted “Home & Family,” “The Young and the Restless'” Jessica Collins (Avery Bailey Clark) stopped by to share her personal touch on how easy it is to make a blueberry cobbler, while also revealing details of a recent scary fan encounter. Per Collins, a fan of “Y&R” loose on the actress while she was sharing personal time with her real-life mother, Ilene, about every little thing that her character on the CBS soap had done. Collins also revealed that she has a love scene ritual, which is to always shake hands with her scene partner “when we’re done with our hot steamy love scenes.”

In the final segment of the Friday, May 30 episode of ABC’s “General Hospital,” the real Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) asked the question, “Who are you?” to the person who has been impersonating him for the past several months. To amp up the drama, fans were treated to a chilling scene in which somber music played in the background as Fluke (aka: Fake Luke) responded and said, “Who am I? That’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? Who do I look like? You? Lucas Lorenzo Spencer? But you want to know who is behind the face. You want to know who’s pulling the strings, doing the dance. You want to know whose big, buzzing brain is behind this genius plan. Let me tell you in the simplest possible terms. Wouldn’t you like to know?” Fluke then winked at Luke.

On “General Hospital,” Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) desperately wants to find out if Ava (Maura West) is really pregnant before he shoots her following last week’s revelation that she, not AJ, was responsible for the death of his former lover, Connie Falconeri. As previously reported, ABC Entertainment Group President, Paul Lee, has called much of the networks new 2013-2014 primetime dramas “soaps,” and we definitely agree with that assessment. Wondering what our readers thought of the shows, we thought we’d give you a closer look at the networks new dramatic offerings.
