“The Young and the Restless” will soon welcome a new Fenmore Baldwin to Genoa City with daytime newcomer Zach Tinker taking over from Max Ehrich.

A veteran of daytime soaps, actress Alla Korot (ex-Allie Doyle, “All My Children”; ex-Jenna Norris, ” Another World”) is heading to “General Hospital,” confirms an ABC representative. Character details and when she’ll first air were not made available, however.

Five years since departing CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” actor Peter Porte (ex-Ricky Williams) has made a name for himself with appearances in such shows as “NCIS,” “Living with Models” and more recently starring as Brad on “Baby Daddy.” On Saturday, August 5, the actor will star opposite Amanda Righetti (“Colony,” “The Mentalist”) in the Hallmark Channel original movie, “Love at the Shore.”

Fans of “The Young and the Restless'” Lachlan Buchanan (Kyle Abbott) may miss seeing their favorite actor on the daytime drama series on a more consistent basis, now that he’s on recurring status with the daytime soap, but at least they’ll soon be able to see him in primetime in an upcoming episode of CBS’ “NCIS.”

Actor Michael Weatherly (ex-Cooper Alden, “Loving”) will be departing “NCIS” at the end of this season, the actor and CBS confirmed today. Weatherly, who is only one of four original actors to have appeared in all of the show’s near 300 episodes to date, portrays the widely popular Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo on the series.

Compiling ratings data from production studio sources for the period beginning January 1 and ending October 31, Vulture recently reported some of the most watched shows in 18 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Poland, Hungary and Italy, and the publication found the likes of “NCIS,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Flash,” “The Blacklist,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and the recently concluded “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” still at the top of the list for most watched shows in the world. Joining them are CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” two soaps aired in the daytime in America but in primetime elsewhere.

Just before the holiday break, actor Robb Derringer announced on social media that he will soon be departing ABC’s “General Hospital,” where he’s been portraying the recurring role of Special Agent Kyle Sloane opposite Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) since mid-November.

Attention fans of CBS Daytime’s “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” “The Talk,” and “The Price is Right”: If you live in the New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Miami, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh or the Sacramento television markets, you currently have no access to CBS programming if you subscribe to Dish Network. You are also missing out on The CW’s programming if you live in Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Sacramento, San Francisco and Seattle. This is the result of a carriage dispute between CBS Corp. — owner of broadcaster CBS and co-owner of The CW — and Dish Network that was set to expire on Thursday, December 4. The two sides agreed to extend talks on a new carriage contract beyond the 4:00 PM, PT deadline yesterday. The satellite provider eventually dropped the stations from its programming lineup earlier today when the talks fell through. Also affected by the dispute are three independent stations in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York and two MyNetworkTV affiliates in Boston and Miami.
