First teased in an extended promo highlighting the escalating turf war in Port Charles, Brando Corbin, Gladys’ (Bonnie Burroughs) thought dead son, is very much alive in the form of daytime newcomer Johnny Wactor.

With “General Hospital” preempted indefinitely due to ABC News coverage of the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, it is unclear as to when fans will get to see Wactor’s introductory storyline. The actor’s first appearance was originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 22. The show last aired originals on Monday, January 20.

In addition to appearances in episodes of “NCIS,” “Criminal Minds” and “Army Wives,” Wactor co-starred in such shows as “Training Day” and “Animal Kingdom.” He can also be seen in the upcoming mini-series “The Passenger” when it’s released later this year via the Urbanflix streaming service. In 2016, the actor had a supporting role in the Nicolas Cage film “USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage.”
