CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” is currently living it up in Monte Carlo as it prepares for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards, where it is nominated in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category, which honors programs that garnered the highest number of viewers worldwide in 2013 across five continents. On the road to the big night, which takes place on Wednesday, June 11, the show’s cast celebrated the festival’s opening night of glamour and took part in a photocall and autograph signing.

For the ninth consecutive year CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” received a nomination for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards, which honors programs that garnered the highest number of viewers worldwide in 2013 across five continents. “B&B” is nominated in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category. To coincide with its nomination, the soap has announced the addition of Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer (ex- Kate Ramsay, “Neighbours”) to its cast in the newly created contract role of Ivy Forrester, who is the niece of patriarch Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Today, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences officially announced the nominees of the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards! During the final minutes of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” the morning show revealed selected nominees for the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” which remains without a TV home despite being scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 22 live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. According to David Michaels, Senior Executive Director and Co-Executive Producer of the awards show, however, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences does plan to stream the ceremony online if no TV deal can be made for this year.

As previously reported, “The Bachelor’s” Jake Pavelka will be making a return visit to CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” as the Forrester Pilot. When we first reported the news on Soap Opera Network, a first airdate hadn’t been revealed but we can now report that the sometimes actor is scheduled to appear on the Friday, August 9 episode of the daytime drama series. It’s understood he shares scenes with Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) and Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan).
