Like “One Life to Live” with its storyline integrated, or otherwise, celebrity appearances with the likes of Snoop Lion, Australian DJ sisters Mim and Liv Nervo, Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley (Nikki; “Jersey Shore”), rapper Riff Raff, etc., The OnLine Network has announced that RCA recording artist and American Music Awards winner Hot Chelle Rae will appear in the Thursday, May 9 episode of “All My Children” as they perform their brand new single “Hung Up.”

The OnLine Network’s “All My Children” has a new logo, a new home, new actors and of course, a new theme song. Fans have already been privy to details on the first three fresh and shiny elements on that list, and low and behold, it looks like we may have all been subtly introduced to the last one, as well!

As it gears up to launch “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” on Monday, April 29, Hulu has created an exclusive Twitter account just for soap operas as well as a new Tumblr account to keep fans in the loop of all things Pine Valley and Llanview. The website has also posted videos on the various ways fans can utilize Hulu for the viewing pleasure with an entire portfolio of programming from ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW, Nickelodeon, MTV and much more.

More than three months have gone by since Prospect Park’s The OnLine Network made things official when it announced plans to resume production of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” On Friday, January 25, it was announced that Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes would carry both programs for an unheard of online only distribution in America. Unfortunately, Canadians seemed like they would be missing out on the action when the soaps premiered on Monday, April 29. Today, FX Canada announced it would be the only television channel in North America to broadcast both soaps.

Florencia Lozano’s Tea Delgado is given the honor of saying the first curse word in the newly released “First Day of School” behind the scenes video by The OnLine Network, set to music by Raphael Lake/Ben Fisher with their song “Light It Up,” which was recently uploaded as an iTunes exclusive. In character, Lozano yells at Robert Gorrie’s Matthew Buchanan on why he let her daughter do…

“Seeing my cast come in one-by-one. Seeing David Canary, seeing Cady McClain, seeing Jill Larson, Debbi Morgan…it just made it all the more real,” says Ginger Smith, executive producer, “All My Children,” in the newly released “First Day of School” video by iTunes set to music by Raphael Lake/Ben Fisher with their song “Light It Up.” The EP and her cast members comment on the show returning to production nearly six weeks after it was first announced by Prospect Park’s The OnLine Network that the soap along with “One Life to Live” would be returning to the airwaves in more than one shape or form once again this spring (later revealed to be April 29, 2013 via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes).

On April 14, 2011, ABC sent shock-waves throughout the daytime industry when it announced it had decided to cancel “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” Now two years to the day since that announcement, both soaps are in the process of not only returning to television but also to the world wide web courtesy of Prospect Park.

On Wednesday, April 10, rapper Riff Raff taped scenes alongside “One Life to Live’s” Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth) for an upcoming appearance on the online version of the soap opera. According to The OnLine Network, Riff Raff will portray a character by the name of “Jamie Franko,” which sounds awfully similar in name to that of actor James Franco. Riff Raff has made claims that a character Franco portrays in the film “Spring Breakers” resembles that of himself, a claim which has denied by Franco. Riff Raff first airs on Tuesday, May 7.

On Thursday, April 11, ABC’s “General Hospital” announced that former “One Life to Live” stars Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr Manning), Michael Easton (ex-John McBain) and Roger Howarth (ex-Todd Manning) would be returning to the soap after more than two months had gone by since they last appeared at the Prospect Studios, where “GH” is filmed. According to sources, the actors will be portraying new characters. Now two of the three stars have taken to their respective social networks to respond to fans who’ve been dying to hear their take on things.

The anticipation for the online launch of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” has been building for months, and with mere weeks left before the shows’ Monday, April 29 debut on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, it’s tough for fans to keep a lid on all of that excitement. And it’s about to get even harder to contain the joyous feelings, because several actors from both shows have given some pretty nice hints as to what you can expect once their alter egos reappear in Pine Valley and Llanview!

The casts of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” began their reunions (and for some introductions) on Monday, February 25, when “AMC” began filming scenes for the first time since August 2011, again on Wednesday, February 27 during the Sleepy Hollow Photo Shoot and once more on Monday, March 18 as “OLTL” stepped in front of their cameras for the first time since November 2011. Now The OnLine Network, via Hulu, has released its latest video called “We Are A Family” as the cast and crew discuss the return of the soaps in newly released footage.

For more than 41 years ABC’s “All My Children” entertained millions of viewers each and every weekday, week after week, year after year. Sadly, the network canceled the soap in 2011 and the series aired its then final episode in September of that year. Now, in anticipation of its return on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, April 29, The OnLine Network has released a recap of the series as narrated by Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard).
