ESPN host Stephen A. Smith is returning to “General Hospital.” Smith, who last appeared on the ABC soap in 2007 as a reporter, will appear on the Wednesday, March 30 episode in scenes opposite Maurice Benard (Sonny).

After three go-rounds in Port Charles, he’s back on set for a fourth. Michael Easton, who previously portrayed John McBain, Caleb Morley and Silas Clay, has returned to work at “General Hospital” and announced his first air date.
“General Hospital” alum Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett), her fiance MC, and their children were involved in a serious car accident on Friday, February 26. While the actress and the couple’s kids were unharmed, MC was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

Might a soap star past or present be in the mix this time around?
While it’s still uncertain as to who Michael Easton will be portraying when he returns to the “General Hospital” canvas in the coming weeks, the actor recently announced on his Facebook page that you’ll soon be able to catch his new short-film, “Dreamliner,” which reunites him with his former “One Life to Live” co-star Trevor St. John (ex-Todd Manning/ex-Victor Lord, JR). Easton wrote and directed the short.
