Just one year ago it seemed likely that “Drop Dead Diva” would end its run after just four seasons with a huge game changing cliffhanger. In the weeks and months following the October 2012 season finale, Lifetime announced it had canceled “Diva” as it reportedly did not fit within their “brand” of programming. When all seemed lost Sony Pictures Television, producers of the series, was able to work out a deal with Lifetime that allowed the show to return for a fifth season. Today Lifetime and Sony announced that “Diva” will return for a sixth season in 2014.

It’s time to bust out your party hats, because “All My Children’s” Michael E. Knight (ex-Tad Martin) is finally back in the spotlight! As TV Guide’s Michael Logan reports, the ‘AMC’ veteran — who played Tad the Cad for nearly 30 years when the sudser was on ABC — has landed a guest-starring role on Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva.”

Cancelled months after leaving viewers hanging with a major cliffhanger, “Drop Dead Diva” received a reprieve from Lifetime earlier this year which has resulted in a fifth season set to debut on Sunday, June 23. Today, Lifetime has revealed the first promo of the new season, which helps shed a little light on life after Owen (Lex Medlin) caught his bride, Jane (Brooke Elliott), kissing Grayson (Jackson Hurst) moments before they were to be wed.

Trevor St. John is returning to Lifetime’s “The Client List” and he’s ready to start some trouble. In the season two premiere episode entitled “‘Till I Can Make it on My Own,” which airs Sunday, March 10 and picks up where the season one finale left off last June, St. John’s character, Officer Nathan Young, finds himself interrupting Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Kyle (Brian Hallisay) as Riley is about to reveal her little secret to her husband.
