Summer Newman (Hunter King) is back in Genoa City and she’s ready to stir up some trouble on “The Young and the Restless.”

Before news of Steve Burton‘s return to “General Hospital” became official, rumors began to swirl that Jason Thompson might soon be leaving “The Young and the Restless” and his role as Billy Abbott, and possibly be heading back to Port Charles as Dr. Patrick Drake. But not so fast!

“The Young and the Restless’” Gina Tognoni is having the time of her life. Just seven months after reporting to the CBS Television City studio, where the daytime drama series is filmed, Tognoni is grateful for the warm welcome she’s received from viewers and the daytime community as a whole. Fresh off a pre-nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category, for her role as Phyllis Summers on “Y&R,” Tognoni shares with us what it’s like playing such an interesting and dynamic character, provides insight into the Phyllis, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kelly (Cady McClain) triangle, and which actors and characters she’d love to share more screen time with.

While official cause of death has yet to be determined, Sharon Alkus, the wife of Beau Kazer, who portrayed Brock Reynolds on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” off and on since originating the role in 1974, told The Hollywood Reporter that her husband is believed to have died in his sleep on December 30, 2014, and that he had been battling health issues for two years.

It’s New Year’s Eve and we all know what that means. Millions, if not billions, of people across the land will make a resolution that they plan to stick to when the clock strikes twelve as a new year brings a new day, but on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” Jill Fenmore Atkinson (Jess Walton) isn’t planning to just eat healthier, go to the gym or lock down a man (she’s already got Colin), she’s out for some sweet revenge!

As previously reported, “The Young and the Restless'” Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are heading down the aisle one more time, but before the happy occasion can take place, they along with several of their closest friends and family members are heading to lockup! Set to air on Tuesday, September 30, CBS has released a first look clip of the pre-celebration of the joining of the high school sweethearts, who are determined to put the past behind them and face the future together once more.

It’s been almost eight months since “The Young and the Restless’” Adam Newman was declared dead following a horrific showdown and subsequent car crash with Billy Abbott. And since most of the town believed he’d perished in the fiery accident, they’ll be getting quite a shock when the very-much-alive CEO — now played by former “Passions” star Justin Hartley — makes a surprise return to Genoa City, which Soap Opera Network has exclusively learned will take place on Wednesday, November 5!
