After taking a production hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, CBS’ “The Talk” will return to the airwaves with brand new episodes beginning Monday, March 30, executive producer John Redmann announced today.

“During an unprecedented time like this, we all need to be talking, connecting, having important conversations and sharing laughs with friends and family more than ever,” said Redmann. “Our viewers have been with us for 10 years, and we want to be there for them with new shows during this difficult period.”

Dubbed “The Talk@Home,” the series will have hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba and Marie Osmond working remotely during the live broadcast using the Zoom service that many businesses have turned to as a way to communicate with their workers. Producers say that the technology will allow all five hosts plus their guests to be featured on screen together while in separate locations.

Wayne Brady (“Let’s Make a Deal”) will be the first guest upon the show’s return Monday. Actor Sean Hayes (“Will & Grace”) will guest on Tuesday, March 31. Terry Crews (“America’s Got Talent”) will guest on Wednesday, April 1, and Jaime Camil and Pauley Perrette of CBS’ upcoming comedy, “Broke,” will appear on the Thursday, April 2 episode. Dr. Mehmet Oz (“The Dr. Oz Show”) and actor Sebastian Maniscalco will guest on Friday, April 3.

“The Talk Chat Room,” which launched after production was halted due to the novel coronavirus, will continue on Instagram Live @TheTalkCBS with the hosts interviewing celebrity guests and each other.
