Although the site didn’t provide any additional details, SheKnows Soaps is reporting that “General Hospital” stars Tamara Braun (Kim Nero) and Billy Miller (Drew Cain) will “temporarily be off-screen” from the ABC soap “for storyline reasons.”
As viewers watched their characters deal with the recent loss of their son, Oscar (Garren Stitt), it would make sense that the show would continue showing the ramifications of a loss on screen, or off, depending on the needs of the writers. However, the last time both characters appeared onscreen was last week, May 16, when Drew and Kim Nero headed to Mount Kilimanjaro to spread Oscar’s ashes.
In response to the SheKnows Soaps report, an ABC rep told Soap Opera Network, “Not to my knowledge,” when pressed for comment/confirmation, or clarification on the possible lengths of the temporary exits.
