Like “As The World Turns,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “Guiding Light” before it, producers of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” have announced a new partnership with Pan Macmillan and its digital-first imprint, Momentum,  in which the publishing company will release a series of novellas surrounding several characters from “B&B.”

The titles, beginning with Forbidden Affair by Amy Andrews and Collision Course by Shannon Curtis, will be released simultaneously in print via Pan Macmillan and digitally via Momentum and will recount new love stories created through collaboration between authors of each novella and “B&B” executive producer and head writer, Bradley P. Bell.

“Love stories that have yet to be seen on television can now fully ignite between the covers of these novellas,” said Bell in announcing the deal. “This partnership with Pan Macmillan and Momentum expands the choices our fans have to be entertained by the signature characters of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.'”

“Getting the opportunity to work with such a successful international brand as ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and bring new stories to a global audience in print and digital is a hugely exciting experience for us all,” said Claire Craig from Pan Macmillan and Joel Naoum from Momentum.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” will be celebrating its 7000th episode and 27th year on the air in 2014.
