Wanting to spend a few days alone, JR invites Marissa to the beach cottage and she accepts. Plans get spoiled after Marissa argues with Krystal over numerous things such as her accepting Caleb’s job offer to JR’s desire to have children. JR finds a journal and is shocked at what he reads.
Colby learns about the pill switch but Damon insists she not call the cops on her mom. Colby insists she and Damon return home.
Both feeling alienated from their daughters, Liza and Krystal share an unlikely alliance.
Angie informs Jake that she wants him to be the next Chief of Staff when she has to step down because of her vision. Angie tells Frankie and Natalia about the baby and her vision problem.

- Annie begs JR not to tell anyone about Scott stealing Palmer’s idea.
- Marissa becomes upset after seeing JR and Annie alone together.
