(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Will Tad Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) bad-boy son stand a chance with Adam Chandler’s (David Canary) princess after this hunk steps foot in Pine Valley?

Trent Garrett has been selected to play the contract role of Asher Pike on ABC’s “All My Children.” Look for the mysterious Asher to come into the scene on the heels of Colby Chandler (Natalie Hall) learning some rather interesting information about her current bad-boy boyfriend, Damon (Finn Wittrock).

Until now, Garret has had much of his success in the world of modeling, appearing in ads for clothing giants such as “Abercrombie & Fitch.” In 2009, the young model turned actor landed a small role on a 2009 episode of the CW’s “90210.” Garrett also has a role in the upcoming romantic comedy “Slightly Single in L.A,” which stars “AMC” alumni Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca) and Jonathan Bennett (ex-JR).

Garrett, and his originally named character Asher, debuts on “AMC” on Friday, August 13.

“All My Children” airs Weekdays on ABC. Check local listings. “AMC” also airs 24/7 online at ABC.com.
