(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “All My Children” Episode Recap – Monday, July 20, 2009.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Annie leaves Emma’s room before Ryan or Erica discovers her. Emma lies to Ryan, claiming Annie didn’t come to her room. Scott doesn’t rat Annie out when he catches her sneaking back into the mansion. Adam is impressed by Annie’s shrewdness when she tries to cut a deal with Willis. JR wants nothing more than to get Annie away from Adam.

Despite Zach, Ryan and Erica’s protests, Kendall feels as though she has no choice but to agree to a plea bargain and go to prison for a few years as opposed to risking facing life behind bars or even the death penalty. Zach takes Kendall in his arms to comfort her.

David joins Liza at her table at ConFusion but makes a quick exit after her comment about children hits him hard.

On the Next All My Children…

  • Zach and Kendall reaffirm their love for one another.
  • Annie remembers more about the night of the murder.
  • Jake and Amanda form a new plan.

“All My Children” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings.
