Matt Bomer debuts in tonight’s Spring premiere episode of “Glee,” the FOX sensation whose cast recently learned they are one of the Top-10 selling digital artists of all-time according to Nielsen SoundScan. The list included such artists as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and the Black Eyed Peas. The “Glee” cast ranks eighth with 32 million songs digitally downloaded.

Jack Wagner, 52, is a soap opera legend and singer, but for millions of viewers he’s a dancing star courtesy of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” The actor joined the 14th cycle (season) of the reality-competition series along with such celebrities as Melissa Gilbert (actor, “Little House on the Prairie”), Sherri Shepherd (talk show host and actress, “The View”), Jaleel White (actor, “Family Matters”), Gladys Knight (singer), Donald Driver (NFL star, “Green Bay Packers”), William Levy (latin soap star), Katherine Jenkins (opera star), Gavin DeGraw (singer), Martina Navratilova (tennis star), Roshon Fegan (actor, “Shake It Up!) and Maria Menounos (TV host and correspondent), but what fans truly want to know is if Wagner is heading back to ABC’s “General Hospital” after being taken off contract by CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” in early February.

Noting the nations thirst for New Jersey based reality entertainment, in the summer of 2010, the cable network Oxygen jumped into the fray with “Jersey Couture.” Except for being based in New Jersey, viewers will not see much similarities between this series and the eccentricities of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” and MTV’s “Jersey Shore.” “Jersey Couture” rather takes a page from TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress.” Both programs share the same producers. This reality series follows the fun and drama surrounding the Scali family (and their customers) as they run Diane & Co., one of New Jersey’s premiere dress boutiques.

“Revenge” is one of television’s biggest new hits and a critical darling. Unfortunately, we at Soap Opera Network have not been giving it the attention it so rightfully deserved, until now. As one of the only dramas ABC can cite as a success on its new primetime schedule, the network has put together a lengthy “catch up” montage for viewers who have yet to discover this little gem of a soap opera.

“One Life to Live” remembered the recent passing of the show’s long-time director David Pressman by dedicating the Tuesday, September 27 episode of the soap in his memory.

For the second time this year, comedienne Chelsea Handler singles out the recently canceled ABC soap saying that “‘One Life to Live’ is one of the soaps that is headed to an early grave and, unlike many of its characters, it won’t be able to come back as its separated at birth evil, retarded twin.” And while the joke was an obvious reference to the “Tale of Two Todd’s” storyline, it wasn’t the only current plot on the soap targeted by Handler on her E! show “Chelsea Lately.”

With his character murdered only weeks after finding out he was really Todd Manning’s (Roger Howarth) twin brother Victor Lord, Jr. and not the reformed rapist himself, Trevor St. John taped his final scenes on “One Life to Live” on July 22 after eight years on the show. Now that he has already left the canvas, aside from some possible flashbacks scenes, his former “One Life” co-stars take a few moments to wish him well and recall what they learned from him over the years.

With today’s news that Prospect Park has officially begun making offers to actors in hopes of them joining “All My Children” 2.0 in time for its January 2012 debut, it’s only fitting to get an insiders perspective on the innerworkings of a canceled soap opera. Cameron Mathison, who portrays the role of Ryan Lavery on the soap, spoke with Soap Opera Network during the “All My Children” Fan Club Weekend and he shed some light on Prospect Park, being a contributor on “Good Morning America” and even dancing on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Cady McClain returned to “All My Children” during the Tuesday, May 17 broadcast of the soap despite filming her first scenes just seven days prior (May 10). So why did the show rapidly insert her scenes into already taped episodes of the soap? “AMC” was canceled of course! During fan club weekend last month, McClain spoke with Soap Opera Network about her return, what the cancellation news meant for cast and crew, the reunion of Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight) and Dixie Cooney (McClain) and even how she got to wear sweats to work while filming scenes of Dixie laying in bed.

Jacob Young is returning to the soap that started his daytime career back in 1997. This fall the Daytime Emmy Award winner will reprise the role of Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) son, Rick Forrester, on the CBS daytime drama “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
