The Bold and the Beautiful, B&B, #BoldandBeautiful

“The Bold and the Beautiful” premiered March 23, 1987 on CBS. The series airs weekdays on CBS. Anytime on Paramount+.

“General Hospital’s” A.J. Quartermaine has officially bought the farm, and we’ll soon be seeing his portrayer, Sean Kanan, back on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” The actor reprises his role as the love-to-hate-him Deacon Sharpe on Friday, June 13 — and the sudser’s headwriter, Bradley P. Bell, says it’s going to be one hellraising return!

Now that “General Hospital’s” Sean Kanan (ex-A.J. Quartermaine) is headed back to “The Bold and the Beautiful” to reprise his role as sleazy con-man Deacon Sharpe, “The Young and the Restless” fans are wondering if the character will be swinging by Genoa City to visit his former lover, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). And while that may be an eventuality, “B&B’s” headwriter, Bradley P. Bell, admits that instead of loaning out Deacon to “Y&R,” he’d rather steal Nikki for his own sudser!

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” will once again welcome Hunter Tylo back to its canvas as the storyline of Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) dealing with the death of her mother, Darla (Schae Harrison), continues to play out on screen and kicks into high gear particularly during May Sweeps. Per the publication, citing a show spokesperson, Tylo is expected to re-appear as Taylor Hayes Forrester beginning Friday, April 25.

“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) is on fire! Not only did the athletic actress ace the Abu Dhabi International Triathalon that took place on March 15 in the United Arab Emirates, she followed up the tough challenge by also acing the difficult Ironman triathalon that took place this past Saturday in Oceanside, California!

Though “Days of our Lives’” Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady Black, “DAYS;” ex-Rick Forrester, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) managed to keep recent details regarding their marriage mostly under wraps, the cat is finally out of the bag: The couple is no longer together.

Today marks the 27th anniversary of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” which was created by the late William J. Bell and his wife Lee Phillip Bell as a sister soap to the widely popular and successful, “The Young and the Restless.” “B&B” now joins an exclusive club of scripted broadcast dramas, which includes “Y&R,” “General Hospital,” “Days of our Lives,” “All My Children,” “Another World,” “One Life to Live,” “As The World Turns” and “Guiding Light,” into the top ten list of the longest running scripted dramas broadcast on network television.

As we previously reported, “The Bold and the Beautiful” is filming on location in the United Arab Emirates this week, but let’s not all forget why the iconic sudser is in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the first place: avid runner Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) was invited to take part in this year’s Abu Dhabi International Triathalon, and executive producer/headwriter Bradley P. Bell decided to follow her — with a film crew and plans for an exciting, international story arc! But before the “B&B” work took place, Lang competed in the triathalon, which happened on Saturday March 15. So how the actress do in the race? Read on to get the details on that as well as some fun photos of her prepping for the tough physical challenge she faced!

“The Bold and the Beautiful” kicked off its eight-episode filming excursion in Dubai and Abu Dhabi this week, officially becoming the very first daytime drama to shoot in the United Arab Emirates region! But just what can you expect from the exciting location shoot? Read on to find out!

Last week’s ratings for soaps may have been a little low (as Soap Opera Network reported here), but as for February Sweeps? “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” kicked some major you-know-what!

“The Bold and the Beautiful” is amping up the intrigue this March with some major “oh no they didn’t!” plot points: Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Katie (Heather Tom) have a sensual sex session, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont) go on booze benders, dead Darla (Schae Harrison) makes a ghostly return and Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) brings whole new meaning to the term “super strange!” Read on for more details, straight from TV Guide and “B&B’s” executive producer, Bradley P. Bell!

The official Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards were announced earlier today, and fans of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” may have noticed something peculiar: Both online versions of the shows were much less represented than their network counterparts.
