CBS’ “The Talk” announced today nominations for “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 1. On Monday, May 2, the daytime show will host its fifth annual “After Party” with scheduled guests to be announced early Monday morning, May 2.

Get ready for a soap opera showdown. Stars from “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” are competing against one another in CBS’ Soap Mayhem Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 10. Part of March Madness 2016, the event will stream live on the CBS Facebook page at 11:30 am ET/8:30 am PT.

Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) has reached a milestone — his 25th year anniversary on “The Young and the Restless.” In honor of the special occasion, a gathering was held on the show’s CBS sound stage, last Friday. Cast, crew, “Y&R” co-creator Lee Phillip Bell and the actor’s daughters, Paris and Lola, were all on hand to celebrate the talented actor.

For some it’s a week of second chances, for others luck will run out. This week on “The Young and The Restless,” Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) finally reunite, and there are more love twists in store for two other couples.

As we get closer to daytime’s biggest night, taking place on Sunday, May 1, the industry is abuzz today over which actors were submitted for a pre-nomination for the “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). With at least two actors per show for each category (exception being Supporting Actress) several of daytime television’s biggest and brightest stars are looking to vie for the coveted trophy that celebrates their hard work during calendar year 2015.

In the current issue of TV Guide, on newsstands now, the magazine examines the four remaining daytime soaps consisting of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless” and how FOX’s “Empire” may have influenced a push for more diversity in 2015 during love in the afternoon.

This week on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” Cane (Daniel Goddard) confronts Lily (Christel Khalil) about her affair, the walls are closing in on Harding (Chris L. McKenna), and will Neil (Kristoff St. John) finally get his revenge against Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James)?

Congratulations are in order for “The Young and the Restless'” Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis), who welcomed her son, Niam, into the world with husband, Navid. This is their first child together. “Cats out da bag #yrfanevent Introducing Niam!!! Thx 4 all your ❤️ & support during this time in my life!” wrote the actress on Twitter during last night’s bi-annual biennial Fan Club Dinner for the daytime soap opera.

As previously reported, the men of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” will be appearing on the Wednesday, November 26 edition of syndicated daytime talk show, “The Queen Latifah Show.” Look for “Y&R’s” Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Justin Hartley (Adam Newman), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) to have a sit down chat with host Queen Latifah as they talk about their best “Y&R” kisses and their first scenes. Look for Bergman to reminisce on his 25 years at the soap while Hartley shows off his famous dimples! Before the episode airs, Soap Opera Network has your first look with the men on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California, where the talk show is filmed.

Before enjoying your annual Thanksgiving meal with friends and family on Thursday, November 27, one day earlier – Wednesday, November 26 – the men of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” will provide plenty of thanks for viewers of “The Queen Latifah Show” as the talk show welcomes actors Peter Bergman (Jack), Justin Hartley (Adam), Daniel Goddard (Cane), Bryton James (Devon) and Joshua Morrow (Nicholas) to the program to chat with Queen Latifah herself.

Fall has officially hit “The Young and the Restless’” Genoa City, but the big fall — or rather fallout — you’ve been waiting for regarding the Neil, Hilary and Devon triangle has yet to descend. But Mishael Morgan (Hilary) says that’s all about to change! Soap Opera Network caught up with the actress, who reveals that her alter ego’s rendezvous with father/son pair Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James) is on the verge of exploding — and it’s going to leave one ugly Winters family mess!

As previously reported, “The Young and the Restless'” Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are heading down the aisle one more time, but before the happy occasion can take place, they along with several of their closest friends and family members are heading to lockup! Set to air on Tuesday, September 30, CBS has released a first look clip of the pre-celebration of the joining of the high school sweethearts, who are determined to put the past behind them and face the future together once more.

Just as Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) get ready to head down the aisle one more time, cast members from CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” took time out of their busy schedule to pose for their mug shots in a hilarious photo gallery posted on Entertainment Tonight‘s website. If you thought it was all for laughs, however, think again!

It’s been almost eight months since “The Young and the Restless’” Adam Newman was declared dead following a horrific showdown and subsequent car crash with Billy Abbott. And since most of the town believed he’d perished in the fiery accident, they’ll be getting quite a shock when the very-much-alive CEO — now played by former “Passions” star Justin Hartley — makes a surprise return to Genoa City, which Soap Opera Network has exclusively learned will take place on Wednesday, November 5!

With summer almost (officially) over and fall right upon us, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” is gearing up for one sexy, fun and exciting season of juicy television. In a newly released promo, aired at the conclusion of today’s episode, highlighting all the goings on in Genoa City, viewers better get ready for several twists and turns in ongoing stories and the beginnings of new story arcs.

You don’t have to be a criminal to know that “Criminal Minds” star Shemar Moore is gonna steal the show on “The Young and the Restless” this week when he returns as the very popular character Malcolm Winters. And it’ll happen for good reason: The storyline that brings him back is filled with drama, tears and heart wrenching emotion. But don’t take our word for it: Moore himself opened up about the touching moments that will play out when he appears in Genoa City on Wednesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 11!

Get ready to drop it like it’s hot, because “The Young and the Restless’” Shemar Moore was in the house (Neil’s house, specifically) to talk about his upcoming return as Malcolm Winters — and the heat really is too much to handle! From stepping back into Genoa City, to reuniting with his daytime counterparts, to details regarding the new season of his hit primetime series, “Criminal Minds,” the actor spilled every fiery little detail. So read on… if you dare!
