According to The New York Post, “One Life to Live’s” Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Buchanan) has put her two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op on the market for $1.82 million. Located in the eight-story, 60-unit brick-and-terracotta Musician’s Building in the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City, the property includes built-in bookcases in a large living room, an eat-in kitchen with wine refrigerator and all-in-one washer/dryer, and a wood-burning fireplace.

“As The World Turns” alums Paolo Seganti (ex-Damien Grimaldi) and Marnie Schulenburg (ex-Alison Stewart) along with “Guiding Light” alum Ron Raines (ex-Alan Spaulding) are joining the cast of The OnLine Network’s “One Life to Live,” the network announced today. The three former CBS Daytime soap stars make their Llanview debuts this summer in newly created roles.

In a new posting on his Facebook page, Michael Easton (ex-John McBain, “One Life to Live” and “General Hospital”) says, “SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS…to my family of friends in their new venture. I know you’re going to be a big hit…” The actors comments are understood to be in reference to the re-launches of both “OLTL” and “All My Children,” which premiere today on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes.

As evidenced by the first episode of “One Life to Live,” life in Llanview has continued long after the soap ended its ABC run in January 2012. No, we don’t mean that the soap has jumped ahead five years as sister soap “All My Children” has done in order to progress its storylines, we mean characters didn’t just walk upstairs to the attic and kept silent and still while the millions of fans mourned their reported last breaths. Scheduled to re-launch on Monday, April 29 via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, the soap is about to take things higher with the opening of Blair’s new night club, Shelter, as the backdrop to getting things moving once more.

As the old saying goes, a happy employee is a productive employee. And that must be a mantra Prospect Park believes in. According to the actors who have signed on to the serial dramas, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” the production company — headed by Jeff Kwatinetz and Richard Frank — has batted a thousand when it comes to being respectfully in charge. And the end result, as the performers preview, is pure magic.

Kamar de los Reyes left ABC’s “One Life to Live” in 2009 after portraying the uber popular role of Antonio Vega off and on for nearly 14 years. When he joined the soap in 1995, the character was introduced as a former gang member recently released from prison after serving time for killing a man. As the eldest son of Carlotta Vega, Antonio was able to prove the crime was in fact an act of self defense with help from Nora Buchanan. In “Call of Duty: Black Ops II,” which was released in November 2012, de los Reyes portrays Raul Menendez the terrorist behind a new world at war that is set in the year 2025. The game, also starring some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez and Michael Keaton with appearances by former soap stars Eden Riegel (“All My Children”) and Brianna Brown (“General Hospital”), grossed over $500 million on its first day of release. The team at Treyarch Invention made the game so real-life like that de los Reyes is now immortalized as a very recognizable video game character, despite the evil things the character induces.

Nickelodeon has tapped former “General Hospital” executive producer Jill Farren Phelps and former “One Life To Live” head writer Josh Griffith to adapt the popular Mexican telenovela “Alcanzar una Estrella” for Nick at Nite.

As we all know, four weeks ago Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney/ABC Television Group, visited the set of ABC’s “All My Children” to announce the cancellation of the 41-year-old soap live and in person to cast members while also canceling “AMC’s” sister soap “One Life to Live,” whose cast members learned via video feed of the 42-year-old daytime dramas fate. According to Frons, with “The Chew” and “The Revolution” the network will be saving between 30-40% a week on programming costs. It’s easy to see why as Soap Opera Network has your exclusive first look at the new programming that falls under the networks “It’s a Brand New Day” promotional campaign. Materials for the campaign will be sent out to advertisers and press outlets beginning next week as the network presents its 2011-2012 daytime and primetime schedule to Madison Avenue’s elite buyers at the Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center in New York City on Tuesday, May 17. Soap fans are scheduled to protest outside the event from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.
