Appearing this morning on Hallmark Channel’s “Home and Family,” actress Alison Sweeney announced that she recently returned to the “Days of our Lives” set to once again portray her iconic character, Sami Brady, for a few episodes. The episodes aren’t expected to air until next Summer, however, due to the advanced film schedule the show continues to follow.
“Sami is back, causing some trouble,” Sweeney said, noting “I had a great time being there.”
The actress was on deck with hosts Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison to promote her upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas movie, “Time For You to Come Home for Christmas,” which airs Sunday, December 8 at 9:00 p.m. EST/PST on the wholesome family network.
In the TV movie, Sweeney plays Katherine, a young woman who returns home following the passing of her husband only to meet a veteran (Lucas Bryant) who is on his own holiday journey. As Christmas nears, they learn of a bond that may be the miracle they need.
