“Guiding Light” alum Bradley Cole (ex-Richard Winslow; ex-Jeffrey O’Neill) will help kick off the first episode of the new year of “The Locher Room” hosted by Alan Locher. The live episode will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT.

The actor will be on hand to talk about his time on the daytime drama series, his role as dad to children Sean and Maya and what’s ahead for him in the new year.

Cole first appeared in Springfield in July 1999 as Prince Richard Winslow. The character took off in popularity when he was coupled with Cassie Layne (Laura Wright; now Carly Corinthos on “General Hospital”). In 2002, Richard died, leaving fans distraught. By May 2003, Cole returned to the soap but as a new character, District Attorney Jeffrey O’Neill.

In addition to “Guiding Light,” Cole’s other credits include the international soap opera “Riviera,” TV movies “Jewels” and “The Sun Also Rises,” along with feature films “Sweet Revenge,” “Touch and Die,” and “5 Days in June,” among others.

Outside of acting, Cole is also an accomplished singer/songwriter, releasing five albums (“Tonite,” “All Your Dreams,” “In Our Time” and more recently “Live Tracks” and “A Human Thing”). Music from his albums were featured on “Guiding Light.”

Fans of Cole can look forward to seeing him on tour in 2023, joining French musician Elsa Esnoult across the United States. The two previously worked together on stage appearing in Paris, and Cole had a recurring role playing her father in “Les Mysteres de l’amour.”
