After the September 28 hearing was postponed as a precaution leading up to Hurricane Ian, the January 6th Committee announced last week that the rescheduled hearing will now occur today, October 13, beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT. As a result, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “General Hospital,” “GMA3: What You Need to Know” and “The Talk” will be preempted.

Episodes of the daytime soaps will be pushed forward by a day, meaning that today’s previously scheduled episodes will now air tomorrow, October 14. Additionally, with Emma Samms reportedly set to reprise her role as Holly Sutton on “GH,” with her first air date originally set for Wednesday, October 19, the actress will instead return to the show on Thursday, October 20, barring any additional preemptions.

As has been chiefly the case since the daytime portion of the hearings began in June, “The Young and the Restless” will air an all-new episode for its first half-hour before the network transitions to a CBS News special report at 1:00 p.m. ET, anchored by “CBS Evening News” anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnell.

Joining O’Donnell on CBS will be chief political analyst and senior national correspondent John Dickerson, chief election and campaign correspondent Robert Costa, chief national affairs and justice correspondent Jeff Pegues, senior White House and political correspondent Ed O’Keefe, senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge and congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane.

In addition to the broadcast and cable networks, the hearing will also be available to stream across social media, including YouTube.
