Congratulations are in order for “Days of our Lives” star Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) and his wife, Gina Comparetto, who are expecting their first child. Comparetto made the announcement on her Instagram page on Friday, October 22 while sharing nearly two dozen photos of the couple (with baby bump) taken by photographer Jessie Cohen.
“First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby,” read part one of a three-part post on Comparetto’s message on Instagram. “Thank you to my dear, talented friend @jessieco_photo for taking these beautiful photos of us. We will cherish them forever and we love you!” She also thanked celebrity makeup artist Make Up Mary Ann for her hair and makeup work, saying, “Thank you for the gorgeous, 60s-inspired hair & makeup that you did! You’re truly the best!”
In part two of the series, the couple share photos while in their bathroom where Flynn is shown brushing his teeth while Comparetto reads tidbits from the book “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” written by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel.
In the third set of photos, the couple is seen sharing tender moments in a park along a swing set as they look forward to the next chapter in their lives. “Party of 3,” read the caption along with a “heart” emoji.
No additional information particularly on the expected delivery date or the sex of the baby was revealed during the couple’s announcement.
Flynn and Comparetto were married on October 1, 2016. On the fifth anniversary of their wedding, the two shared photos of their happy day and other periods during their marriage with Comparetto saying in a caption to Flynn, “I am so grateful for you and our life together. It just keeps getting better.” In response, Flynn said, “I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.”
