The season finale of the FX on Hulu original series “American Horror Stories” will be released on the streaming service on Thursday, August 19, and it looks like we’ll not only be seeing some familiar faces from the original “American Horror Story” series but we’ll also get to catch up with “General Hospital” alum Nicolas Bechtel (ex-Spencer Cassadine).

In a teaser video announcing the cast for the season finale, Bechtel’s name is listed as playing a character named Rory. Not much is known about his role or much else about the episode except that an excerpt from the logline reveals that a couple dares to spend a night in one of the most infamous haunted houses which is a direct reference to the season one storyline from the original “AHS” series now known as “American Horror Story: Murder House.” Also returning from that season is Dylan McDermott as Dr. Ben Harmon and Jamie Brewer as Adelaide Langdon. The episode was written by series creators and executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Liz Friedlander directed.

After appearing earlier in the season, also look for the returns of Kaia Gerber as Ruby, Sierra McCormick as Scarlett, Paris Jackson as Maya, Selena Sloan as Erin, Ashley Martin Carter as Rowena and Merrin Dungey as Dr. Andi Grant.

Bechtel’s appearance in the episode marks his return to the Ryan Murphy universe. He last appeared in four episodes of “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story” in 2016 playing a young Rob Kardashian. Bechtel also had a starring role in Disney Channel’s “Stuck in the Middle.” After three seasons the comedy series concluded its run in 2018.
