This week on “The Young and the Restless” promises to be an emotional one when Sharon and Nicholas Newman (Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow) face a reality no parent should ever have to experience: the fear of losing their child, again!

The drama begins when Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), who was recently released from the hospital after a major car accident as a result of her drinking issues, suddenly collapses at the coffeehouse shortly after her rehab visit, accompanied by her mother and her grandmother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Without knowing what’s wrong, and with a burst of luck, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is around and able to provide medical assistance to the passed out 16-year-old who is later rushed to the hospital.

Fearing that Faith may have come into close contact with the poison that infected Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), which the police still haven’t fully investigated, the family is shocked to learn on the Thursday, April 29 episode that Faith’s kidneys are failing and she’s in need of a donor.

In the following episode, Friday, April 30, the family will learn who is the best donor match for Faith and that someone just might displease some people despite their life-saving abilities.

Look For: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets a clue to discovering Adam's (Mark Grossman) whereabouts on Friday, April 30.

Meanwhile, love in the afternoon continues between Lily Winters (Chistel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), when the latter of the two finally says those three little words: “I was wrong.”

Look for Billy to get the upper hand on the Monday, April 26 episode, which also finds Rey setting a trap for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).
