“The flashy girl from Flushing, the Nanny named Fran” will be repeated time and time again for a new generation of fans when HBO Max begins streaming all six seasons of 90s sitcom “The Nanny” beginnig Thursday, April 1.

In an Instagram video, series co-creator and star Fran Drescher (Fran Fine) shared the news with her more than half a million followers saying, “OMG! Finally, ‘The Nanny’ is streaming on a great streaming channel. So, make sure you mark your calendars because beginning April 1st you’ll be able to see all your favorite episodes of ‘The Nanny’ on HBO Max.” While blowing a kiss to the fans at the conclusion of the video, she added, “Go why don’t you?”

Airing on CBS from 1993 to 1999, “The Nanny” was a hotbed for soap star appearances. Not only did the show also star the likes of “Days of our Lives” alum Charles Shaughnessy (ex-Shane Donovan) as Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield who hires Fran to watch his three children, the show also featured appearances by Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott and Joshua Morrow of “The Young and the Restless,” among a multitude of soap actors who crossed the threshold of the Sheffield residence. In fact, one memorable episode recently published to the show’s YouTube channel included “As The World Turns” alum Paolo Seganti (ex-Damian Grimaldi) as Felipe, a French tutor who courts Fran only to put the moves on C.C. Babcock (Lauren Lane).

Other former soap stars appearing on the show included Hunter Tylo, Barbara Crampton, Brenda Epperson, Ian Buchanan, Lane Davies, Sean Kanan, Lesley-Anne Down and Corbin Bernsen, among others.

Fun Fact: Nicholle Tom, who played Maggie Sheffield on the comedy series, is the younger sister of “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Heather Tom (Katie Logan).
