Introduced by Joely Fisher and David Osmond, the tradition of remembering those in the daytime community whose lives came to an end in the year since last year’s presentation of the Daytime Emmy Awards continued as cabaret singer and actress Roslyn Kind sang the “In Memoriam” tribute song during the “The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.” Those remembered include camera operators, producers, writers, actors, directors, makeup artists, audio technicians and more.

In the soap category, we lost the likes of Frank Parker (Shawn Brady, “Days of our Lives”), Peggy McCay (Caroline Brady, “Days of our Lives”), Ken Kercheval (“Search for Tomorrow,” “The Secret Storm”), Joseph Campanella (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Guiding Light”), choreographer Rick Pessagno (“General Hospital”), writer Harding Lemay (“Another World,” “Guiding Light” and more), casting director Barbara Claman (“Santa Barbara”), video producer Schafer “Scha” Jani (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Young and the Restless”), makeup and hairstylist Donna Messina (“General Hospital”), Elizabeth Sung (Luan Volien Abbott, “The Young and the Restless”), Jed Allan (“Days of our Lives,” “The Bay,” “Santa Barbara”), Robert Mandan (“Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital”), Christopher Kennedy Lawford (“All My Children,” “General Hospital”), Susan Brown (Gail Baldwin, “General Hospital” and “Port Charles”), audio producer Ernie Dellutri (“Days of our Lives”), Luke Perry (“Loving,” “Another World”) and Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters, “The Young and the Restless”), among others.
