On Saturday, April 27, “General Hospital” star William deVry (Julian Jerome) will make a special guest appearance during the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation’s 15th Annual Sandy Sprint Superhero 5K/10K.
The event, scheduled to kick off from the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 7:30 a.m., will include over 4,000 runners, walkers and four-legged friends as they gather together, decked out in their favorite superhero costumes. The Sandy Sprint helps honor the brave heroes – survivors, patients, families, friends and supporters – who are impacted by ovarian cancer. The event is part of a national movement geared toward finding a cure for this deadly cancer.
Philadelphia’s own Gina Gannon from affiliate station 6ABC has been named host while deVry is scheduled to appear as the celebrity ambassador.
