“The Young and the Restless” alum Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) is part of an all-star cast in Lifetime’s latest original movie, “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta,” which follows Reverend Bennet (Reginald VelJohnson, “Family Matters”), a prominent pastor of a southern baptist church whose wife (played by Jackée Harry, “Sister, Sister”) is the author of a self-help book that provides tips on how to find the perfect husband.

With their five daughters, Lizzie (Tiffany Hines, “Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart”), Jane (Raney Branch, “Being Mary Jane”), Mary (Brittney Level, “The Purge”), Lydia (Reginae Carter, “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta”) and Kitty (Alexia Bailey), all living the single life, Mrs. Bennet sets her sights on the dashing Will Darcy (Juan Antonio, “Empire”) for Lizzie. Chaos ensues as everything leads up to a modern-day, comedic reimagining of themes familiar to fans of the iconic Jane Austen novel.

Kellee Stewart (“Love by the 10th Date”) portrays Lizzie’s best friend Charlotte, Rowell plays Will’s aunt Catherine, Keshia Knight Pulliam (“The Cosby Show”) is snarky socialite Caroline who loathes the idea of Darcy and Lizzie’s union and Brad James (“For Better or Worse”) plays Darcy’s best friend Charles Bingley, a pro golfer who has his eyes set on Lizzie’s sister, Jane.

Directed by Rhonda Baraka (“Pastor Brown”) and written by Tracy McMillan, “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta” premieres Saturday, June 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
