Although it had become an annual tradition for fans to view the Daytime Emmy Awards submission reels online, Soap Opera Network has learned that this year the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will not be releasing them to the public.
“In consideration of requests for confidentiality, consistency, fairness and respect to all parties submitting materials for the 2019 Daytime Emmy(R) Awards, NATAS will not be supplying reels this year to the public,” said a rep from the organization to Soap Opera Network.

For reference, below are the submission reels for last year’s Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series winners James Reynolds (Abe Carver, “Days of our Lives”) and Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott, “The Young and the Restless”).
