Get ready for a soap opera showdown. Stars from “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” are competing against one another in CBS’ Soap Mayhem Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 10. Part of March Madness 2016, the event will stream live on the CBS Facebook page at 11:30 am ET/8:30 am PT.
Last year’s winner, Bryton James (Devon, “Y&R) is back, looking to defend his champion status. Meanwhile, this year’s team captains and social media ambassadors, Linsey Godfrey (Caroline, “B&B”) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael, “Y&R”), will help live-tweet the event and post pictures on Instagram on both shows’ handles. “The Young and the Restless” team will face of as follows:
Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) vs. Lauralee Bell (Christine)
Joshua Morrow (Nick) vs. Kristoff St. John (Neil)
Christel Khalil (Lily) vs. Melissa Ordway (Abby)
Bryton James (Devon) vs. Jason Thompson (Billy)
“The Bold and the Beautiful” team will face off as follows:
Karla Mosley (Maya) vs. Alley Mills (Pam)
Don Diamont (Bill) vs. Jacob Young (Rick)
Heather Tom (Katie) vs. Reign Edwards (Nicole)
Rome Flynn (Zende) vs. Pierson Fode (Thomas)
Winners of each round will compete against each other until only one actor/actress is left standing from each show. Those sole representatives will then face off for the title of basketball champion.
