CBS Daytime is showing across the board ratings growth compared to one week prior and the same week last year, according to newly released Nielsen Media Research ratings data for the week of February 8-12, 2016.

The network held the top six programs in Total Viewers and the top four in both Women 25-54 and Women 18-49, the key sales demos that determine ad rates for daytime programs.

The network remains the industry leader throughout the February Sweeps ratings period that began Thursday, February 4.

For the week, “The Young and the Restless” was up 3% to 5.01 million viewers compared to 4.87 million the week prior (week of February 1-5, 2016). The soap was also up 2% from the year ago (from 4.89 million). “Y&R” remained the most watched daytime program in both Women 25-54 and Women 18-49 (tied with “The Price is Right 2”).

“The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted 3.74 million viewers for the week, a gain of 3% week to week (from 3.64 million) and up 1% over the year ago (from 3.72 million). “B&B” ranked third in Women 18-49 (tied with “The Price is Right 1”).

Game shows “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right,” which are both broken into two parts, showed significant improvement for each half-hour.

“Deal 1” was up 5% in Total Viewers with 3.36 million tuning in compared to 3.22 million the week prior. The show was also up 4% from the same week a year ago (from 3.25 million). In Women 25-54, the show was up 11% from both last week and last year with a 1.0 rating (from a 0.9).

“Deal 2” grew 3% over last week with 3.87 million (from 3.75 million) and up 2% over the year ago (from 3.78 million). The show was up 10% from both last week and the year ago in Women 25-54 with a 1.1 rating (from 1.0). The game show ranked fourth overall in Total Viewers.

“Price is Right 1” was up 4% week to week in Total Viewers with 5.46 million tuning in (from 5.24 million) and up 10% over last year (from 4.98 million).

“Price is Right 2” remained the most watched daytime program overall with 6.22 million Total Viewers, a gain of 2% over last week (from 6.08 million). The game show was up 8% from the year ago (from 5.78 million).

“The Talk” grew 4% in Total Viewers (2.9 million vs. 2.81 million) week to week and was up 1% year to year (from 2.87 million).
