Good news for Hope Logan fans. Kim Matula (Hope Logan) is heading back to “The Bold and the Beautiful.” However, it’s only for a short stint. The actress will return for one episode on Wednesday, March 16.

Soap Opera Digest first broke the news, but offered no particulars about how Matula will fit into the storyline.

Matula last appeared on the soap for two episodes in April 2015, when Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to get Hope to stop Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) wedding to Quinn (Rena Sofer). The popular character was mentioned for the first time in months a few weeks ago. At the time, Quinn told her son Wyatt (Darin Brooks) that Deacon was in Europe visiting Hope.

Hope’s return could definitely stir things up in both Wyatt and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) worlds. Wyatt, after all, recently proposed to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Woods). Might his ex-love Hope resurfacing give him second thoughts about committing to someone else?

As for Liam, who’s been suffering from amnesia, Hope would be the perfect person to trigger his complete memory recall. And, of course, she could also fill Liam in on who Quinn really is and reveal all the machinations she’s orchestrated against them in the past, putting an abrupt end to Quinn’s fantasy romance with him.

Since leaving “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Matula appeared in the film, “Maybe Someday,” which also features Alley Mills (Pamela, “B&B”). In addition, Matula has landed the role of Tiffany in the upcoming second season of the primetime hit, “UnREAL.” The Lifetime drama gives a fictitious, behind-the-scenes look at the mayhem surrounding the production of a dating competition reality series.
