Ryan McPartlin Latest Soap Alum to Join ‘Devious Maids’

Ryan McPartlin (ex-Hank Bennett, ā€œPassionsā€) is the latest soap alum to join theĀ ā€œDevious Maidsā€ cast.Ā The actorĀ has signed on for a recurring role in season fourĀ of the Lifetime mystery drama series.

According to Deadline, McPartlin will play Kyle. He’sĀ a new neighbor, who’s sweet, fun, andĀ superĀ sexy. In fact, he’sĀ every woman’s fantasy. There’s just one small — actually, make that big — problem;Ā he has an extremely close relationship with his mother.

Since leaving Passions, McPartlin’s primetime career has soared. He played Fran Drescherā€˜s boy toy on ā€œLiving with Fran,ā€Ā Captain Awesome on ā€œChuck,ā€ and Ryan on ā€œSequestered.ā€ And, most recently,Ā McPartlinĀ starred opposite Mayim Bialik in Lifetime’s ā€œThe Flight Before Christmas.ā€

Since debuting in 2013,Ā Devious Maids has become a who’s who ofĀ former daytime stars, starting with Susan Lucci (Genevieve Delatour), who rose to fame as Erica Kane on ā€œAll My Children.ā€ Brianna BrownĀ (Taylor Stappord) playedĀ Lisa NilesĀ onĀ ā€œGeneral Hospital.ā€ Grant Show (Spence Westmore) was once Rick HydeĀ on ā€œRyan’s Hope.ā€ Nathan Owens (Jess Morgan) and Matt Cedeno (Alejandro Rubio) both appeared on ā€œDays of our Livesā€ as Cameron Davis and Brandon Walker, respectively. John O’Hurley (Christopher Neff) is a vet of ā€œLovingā€ (ex-Jonathan Matalaine), ā€œSanta Barbaraā€ (ex-Keith Lane) and ā€œAll My Childrenā€ (ex-Kit Sterling).
