Although he’s finished his time at “The Young and the Restless” after his character, Joe Clark, was arrested for setting up Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) for extortion on the Friday, December 11 episode of the CBS Daytime drama series, actor Scott Elrod is moving on in the new year with an upcoming guest appearance on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and news that he’ll be a first time daddy with girlfriend Vanessa Vazart.
In a posting on his Instagram page, Elrod shared the happy news with his followers along with an image of a text message conversation he had with his mother as he gave her the happy news.

“Sending love to everyone who has influenced me as it has added to who I have become as my #1 @vanessa_vazart and I have been blessed with a little peanut and now I get the greatest give of all which is to channel that love to him. Mom Dad x2 I love you and thank you! @vanessa_vazart U r are my mirror image I love you,” wrote Elrod.
