‘Goodbye For Now’ Says ‘Y&R’s’ Kelli Goss to Fans

With a cryptic message written on a piece of paper gripped tight within her dead cold hands, Courtney Sloan (Kelli Goss) ended her lively run on CBS' "The Young and the Restless" on Monday, April 6 as close friends, and those that loved her, mourned their loss. Courtney's murder was just another in a growing line of deadly twists in the Abbott cabin crew storyline. As fiancé Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) tried everything in his power to resuscitate her, the young man was forced to come to grips with the reality that his happy path to wedded bliss had been derailed.

“I warned you. Stop digging.”

In a message on her Instagram page, Goss thanked the fans for their “support, concern, well wishes, & love for Courtney” and for allowing her original two week stint to last longer than most romances.

“I’m completely humbled by the outpouring of support, concern, well wishes, & love for Courtney. ‘The Young and The Restless’ has given me the best two weeks that turned into two years and I will never be able to thank them enough,” said Goss in her message. She added, “Thank you to everyone who has watched “Courtney the Cop” & her (tragic) love story. This isn’t the end because it never really is in soaps haha! But goodbye for now. xx #YR #RIPCourtney”
