John Gaburick, Executive Vice President of TNA Wrestling, Creative & Talent Relations, has been a busy bee this week announcing the re-signing of several TNA Wrestling talent, including “Tainted Dreams” and “Big Brother” star Jessie Godderz.
“I am incredibly honored and privileged to be re-signed by the best organization in the world,” said Godderz in a statement released exclusively to Soap Opera Network on news of his re-signing with TNA. “I am tremendously grateful to both John Gaburick and Dixie Carter [president, TNA Wrestling] for believing in me and making this day possible. They are the best bosses in the world and this is truly a dream come true!!”
Before joining TNA Wrestling in October 2012, Godderz appeared on five consecutive seasons of CBS’ “Big Brother” (2008-2012). He stars as Dylan Buckwald in “Tainted Dreams,” an online series created by veteran daytime director and producer Sonia Blangiardo, which stars an assortment of past and present soap stars. The series is currently seeking distribution.
In addition to Godderz, TNA has also re-signed wrestlers Kurt Angle, Ethan Carter III, Abyss, Madison Rayne and Ken Anderson, with more signings expected.
On Wednesday, January 7 at 9:00 PM, ET/8:00 PM, CT, “Impact Wrestling” moves to its new home on Destination America for a live event from the Manhattan Center in New York City, which includes the reunion of the famous BroMans (Godderz, Robbie E and DJZ).
