Former “The Young and the Restless” star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Newman) repeatedly told reporters that she was walking away from her popular daytime role to pursue other projects, and rumors are swirling that her next gig might be over at “General Hospital!”
When Port Charles’ character Silas Clay (Michael Easton) recently mentioned his wife, Nina (who’s been in a coma for two decades), fans began speculating that perhaps Stafford — who exited “Y&R” in August of last year — will be taking on the role.
Unfortunately, a rep for the show had no comment on whether or not the redhead is joining the ABC soap, so we’ll all have to wonder… for now!
