As “General Hospital’s” executive producer, Frank Valentini, recently revealed to Soap Opera Network, the next few months of the iconic soap opera are going to be filled with can’t-miss-television. And Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) says that part of the excitement to come will definitely include some twists and turns in the complicated baby situation his alter ego is caught in with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).

“As far as I know, there’s going to be a lot more baby drama, which I love,” he tells Soap Opera Network. “Just when you think it’s going to be concluded, it won’t be! The conclusion that you guys think is happening, which I think is in the works, is not as simple as what you think it might be. Don’t underestimate Britt Westbourne, that’s all I can say! She’s a nut bag. She’s smart and conniving.”

What’s more, the actor says to expect much more drama of the cop variety — but it will be a bit different than the police action seen on the show in the past. “There will be a lot more intelligence, as far as I’m concerned,” he reveals. “And we’re excited about that. But the only thing I want Dante to do is maybe shoot somebody really important, just one time. They don’t have to die, but I’d love to see him shoot somebody really important. Sonny always has to shoot somebody; he can’t keep pulling out his gun [without] shooting somebody! And Dante, the same thing: He’s pulled out his gun so many times, so eventually, he’s got to shoot somebody.”

But for those fans who don’t necessarily like the crime aspect of “GH,” Zamprogna says there will be plenty of love in the mix, as well. That is, if Dante and Lulu can manage to find their way back to each other! “I can’t guarantee that it’s going to be successful one way or the other, but I think we’re definitely working toward that,” the actor teases of a possible reunion. “I know we’re definitely spending Valentine’s Day together… and it’s going to coincide with a lot of great story for the two of them.”
