Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman, “The Young and the Restless”) is engaged! The actress tweeted a picture of herself with her engagement ring with the caption “Said yes.”
According to Soap Opera Digest the lucky man is Egan’s longtime boyfriend Matt Katrosar. Katrosar is believed to be the Director of West Coast Sales at CBS Interactive.
Prior to joining “Y&R” in November 2011, Egan portrayed the contract role of nutty Annie Chandler on ABC’s “All My Children.” She received three Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award nominations in four years in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role on “AMC” in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
