IT HAPPENED TODAY…
Frankie realizes Maya’s never met Angie and introduces the two and they immediately hit it off. Frankie suggests to Angie that Maya would make a great babysitter.
Jesse runs into a grieving Ryan who thanks Jesse for reminding him how lucky he is to have his children. Madison gets upset with Greenlee when she suggests Madison take some time off to grieve. She thinks Greenlee’s trying to get rid of her and keep her away from Ryan. Ryan walks in just in time to hear Greenlee say Madison is not having his child. Ryan comforts Madison. Greenlee lashes out at Jake who sees right through her antics. Ryan finds Greenlee and apologizes. Greenlee wants to be there for Ryan and mentions that Jake told her about the christening. Ryan says it’s ok, Madison helped him through today. Upset, Greenlee asks Ryan not to forget about the connection she shares with him.
Amanda’s surprised to find out that Cara’s been reinstated. Cara asks Jake why he didn’t tell Amanda. When the two save an emergency patient they’re reminded of their time in Africa. At the christening Amanda tells Jake she is fighting for their relationship and pulls him into a kiss. Cara is glad she’s told Tad the truth about what happened between her and Jake. Opal is happy that Tad and Cara’s marriage seems to be turning into a real one. Tad admits he doesn’t think his wife is completely over Jake. Opal reminds him that both he and Cara came into the marriage with baggage but it’s up to him to stop being a prisoner of the past and to fight for the future. Tad notices Cara was emotionally touched at baby Lucy’s christening.
