(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Television and Film Star Ricky Dean Logan is joining the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” in the recurring role of Earl Larson. The character makes his first appearance in Salem on April 15 and again on April 25. No word on future airdates or what brings Mr. Larson to town was available at press time.

Days of our Lives

Logan got his start in 1989 as Data in the film “Back to the Future Part II.” He also appeared in “Back to the Future Part III” as a Needles Gang Member. The actor guest-starred in a number of episodes of NBC’s “Seinfeld” in the early 1990’s and had a recurring role on several “Baywatch” related programming as Carlton Edwards.

Logan voiced multiple characters in the comic book spinoff cartoon series of “Spawn” from 1997-1999. More recently he had roles on NBC’s “Las Vegas,” “ER” and ABC’s “Sons & Daughters.” Ricky will make a cameo appearance on an upcoming episode of the Style Network series “Split Ends,” which features longtime friend Guiseppe Franco, a Beverly Hills stylist.

Ricky also appeared in three episodes of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” in 2007, which gave him an in for the role of Earl Larson as “DAYS” Co-Executive Producer Edward Scott kept the actor in mind for future roles.
